There are many ways to serve within the parish. Along side our many ministries you can assist in, there are many committees and volunteer groups listed below. There are also many interesting activities to participate in listed under the Event Calendar.

ABC Elementary is looking for parishioners who will assist the school in a very vital and important way! We are seeking 50+ people who will simply commit to praying for an individual student throughout the school year. You will serve as the Guardian Angel, praying for a specific angelic ABC Elementary student. In addition, you will be invited to join us whenever you'd like for Mass on Thursdays at the elementary chapel. Other special events will occur periodically if you choose to attend. For more information, please call, VanNessa at 727-1150 or Mary at 753-0308.
Guardian Angel Prayer:
Watch over ____(Michael)_____ today at ABC Elementary. Guard over him with every care and make his ways easy and his labors fruitful. Sanctify his joys; raise his courage if he weakens; restore his hope if he loses heart, his health if he is ill, truth if he errs, repentance if he fails. Above all, teach him to live in the ways of you, Jesus. Amen.

Do You Have an Hour to Spare?
Do you have one hour each year that you can give to a charitable cause? If you believe in the importance of investing your time in friendship, the Church, and helping others, the Knights of Columbus is for you. The Knights of Columbus is an organization of Catholic men and their families that derive a great sense of satisfaction from being able to develop lasting friendships with each other while helping the less fortunate.
Every day, the Knights of Columbus provides its members with the opportunity to discover the importance of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism to our country and the world.
I urge all men of this parish whose families are not involved in the K of C to consider giving one hour of their time to the Knights each year. And I encourage those parishioners that belong to the Knights to help a friend and his family discover the opportunities available to them in the Knights.
We welcome your interest and invite your participation.

- Perpetual AdorationPerpetual Adoration is in the new St. Patrick's Chapel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Come spend some time with Jesusin the Eucharist.
The spiritual benefits for our parish and for individuals who participate are tremendous and the effects of this devotion are far reaching.
Leaders are Coordinator Dave Probst721-5663;
Divisional leaders Merlin Recker, Darrel Madsen, Craig & Cathy Steel, Robert Krummel; Assistant divisional leaders Rich & Millie Beran and Leo Hennessey
(Dear Perpetual Adoration Adorers,
Technology has influenced how we stay in touch. Your perpetual adoration committee has decided that it would be nice to have the e-mails of all you who have them, so that we can alert you to events coming up in our parish.
We are planning some exciting events for perpetual adoration adorers so we wanted to have another point of contact for you. Therefore, I will place several sheets by the adoration sign-in book. Please place your e-mail on one of those sheets.
Alternatively, if you would rather do it electronically, you can e-mail either Robert Krumel, Craig Steel, or me, David Probst.)
Are you looking for a way to serve the Lord and your parish?
Our perpetual adoration leadership team is looking for ten individuals or couples who would join us on the leadership team. We are looking for 3 assistant coordinators, a spiritual materials coordinator and six hourly coordinators.
The assistant divisional coordinators work closely with the divisional coordinators to ensure that the weekly six-hour time frame is manned by at least 42 guardians. The assistant coordinators review the weekly time slots and look for those slots with only one guardian and alerts the divisional coordinators that they
need to actively recruit others to consider serving in that time slot. The assistant leader identifies individuals who can serve as substitutes and forwards these individuals to the divisional leader to be added to the list. The assistant divisional leader is invited to attend the quarterly meetings designated to address the needs and concerns of the Pastor and guardians surrounding perpetual adoration.
Tthe assistant leader actively promotes perpetual adoration throughout the parish and serves as a substitute for the guardians if need be.
The spiritual materials leader is responsible for overseeing the materials that are available for all guardians in the chapel. They will make sure materials are available and up to date. They will recommend new materials to the Pastor and address the requests for materials from guardians. The leader will also review the area outside the chapel to ensure it is up to date and dated materials removed. The leader will review the board to see if anyone has placed a request for a sub and notify the appropriate divisional leader of the need for a substitute. The spiritual materials leader is invited to attend the quarterly meetings designated to address the needs and concerns of the Pastor and guardians surrounding perpetual adoration.
The leader actively promotes perpetual adoration throughout the parish by keeping the parish and organizations informed of perpetual adoration activities and serves as a substitute for the guardians if need be.
Finally, we need six hourly coordinators. The hourly coordinators are responsible for making a
monthly check-up call to all adorers assigned to their hour. The hourly coordinators should also
contact the divisional coordinators with any concerns they receive from the phone calls they
make. Each month those who are making the monthly phone calls should be asking the adorers
if they would be interested in becoming hourly coordinators themselves. The hourly coordinators are the key s to successful adoration participation.
You may be asking yourself if this is a stewardship opportunity you should consider. I would simply say to take an hour and go to the adoration chapel and pray about accepting this call. Then if you are interested in joining our leadership team, call Dave Probst at 721-5663.
Remember that Jesus is available in our parish 24/7, 365 days a year. So make some time and
visit...no appointment is necessary!
